It’s All In How You Look At It!

Posted in Christianity at 12:15 pm by Lisa Ritchey

We all go through different and often difficult situations.  How we respond to these situations totally depends on how we look at it.  Seriously!  If you are in a hard place, you can either look at your circumstances and become depressed, fearful, worried, and, if you are doing all that, probably sick.  OR, you can get the Bible out and read it.  What does it say about your situation?  Find that, then stand on that Word.  No matter what is around you.  For example:

Are you needing money for the house payment, rent or power bill?  Stand on Philippians 4:19, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”  Now either you believe that or not.  Period.  He either will or He won’t.  He said that He will, but it is up to you to believe it.

The same goes for healing.  “By His stripes* ye were healed.”  (1 Peter 2:24)  I really like the way that Pastor Jesse Duplantis explains this verse: “Were healed takes care of am sick!”  Again, either you believe it or not.  But I can’t figure out why anyone would not believe this awesome, precious verse.  He did not put any stipulations, regulations, restrictions, or qualifications on it.  I can not find one single instance of Jesus turning away anybody that came to Him to be healed.  I can, however, find where multitudes came to Him, “And He healed them all“.  None denied, none turned away, none left ill or oppressed. Not a one, nada, nil, NONE.  (Matthew 4:24, 12:15; Luke 4:40, 6:19)  “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8.  If He never denied anyone then, that means that the same is true for today: He still refuses no one healing.  Cancer?  He has the cure.  Arthritis?  Ditto!  There is nothing  that He can not and will not heal if we will just believe that He will.  So, you can either call yourself sick or healed, it is your choice.  (Faith calls thing that be not as though they were. Romans 4:17 says that this is how God does it, so that is how we are to do it, too!  )

I think that I have made my point.  We look at our situations either with the carnal eye (ways of the world), or with a Kingdom eye (what does the Bible say about it?).  Remember that you will eventually get what you say!!!!  Be it good or bad:

Mark 11:22. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

Mark 11:23. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

So, This is what it boils down to:  You believe the Bible or you don’t.  You can have your situations resolved divinely, or not.  It is up to you.  It just depends on how you are willing to look at it.
