This is so sad!

Robin Williams brought so much joy and laughter to so many for so many years.  That great comedic voice has now been silenced on Earth by depression.  This is so sad.  Mainly because it was unnecessary.

Depression is caused by an evil spirit, a devil.

Where was the Church?  Where were the believers, as Jesus described in Mark 16?

(17)   And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

(18) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Mark 16:17-18 KJV

Why are so many walking around this oppressed?  EVEN IN THE CHURCHES!!!!!!!!

Oh, Jesus.  Why won’t your followers believe?

Could it be a sign of the times?

2 Timothy 3:1-5

(1) This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

(2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

(3) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

(4) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

(5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:

If that is the case, what do we do about it?

From such turn away.  2 Timothy 3:5

This is an essential step for true believers.  Abraham had to leave his family for the same reason.  They worshiped idols.  He could not have that influence around him.  Like it or not, we are swayed by what we are exposed to.  Why do you think Jesus said,

Mark 10:28-30
(28) Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.
(29) And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,

He said that because He knew there would be those of us that would be called to do just that:  Give them up.  Totally.  Sever ALL ties with them.  I hear you out there, “But G-d would never tell someone to do that to family!”  Oh, yes He does!!!!  Trust me on this one!

If one truly loves the L–d above all else, they will.  And our good, kind, loving G-d will bless those that do:
(30) But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

Why do you not believe like that?  Have you read the Bible all the way through?  Or do you have a few verses you keep reading over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over?  THAT is NOT studying the Bible.  Get out your Concordance or other Word Study book and sit down studying [*] your Bible, knowing what He meant when it was written, NOT what King James meant in 1611.  Some versions are an extremely watery interpretation that I will not have in my house.  I, personally, will not have a Living  or NIV version.  On the other hand, I love King James 1611 and the Amplified Bibles.  And I have four or five Strong’s Concordances that I use.  If I am online, I use e-Sword.com, a free Bible and study tools program that is just great.  The Choice of what you use, as always, is yours, though.

Every Believer must know what they believe and why.  I believe every word in the Bible.  Maybe not the words that have been translated into today’s languages, but absolutely every word Inspired by the Holy Spirit to be written.

I believe the fullness of the Gospel and that the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2 was just the beginning of the Church Age.  And it is not over.

If the world is going to see our Jesus as He really is, we, the Church, must start acting like Him.  He did these things and so must we.

If more of us had, perhaps Robin Williams would still be with us.

[2] – 2 Timothy 2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
