Could This Be Why Some Make It Through A Crisis Well and Others Don’t?

One of several tornadoes observed by the VORTE...

I got such a revelation on this yesterday, that I just had to write about it.

The reason is so very simple.  I believe that it is the ones that don’t just pray for God to save them from a situation, or ask Him for mercy or help, but those that know how to “work” the Word make it through well.  Here is what I mean.

We are to renew our minds by the reading of the Word.  When we do this, it gets down in our spirit.  This means that when we need it, it “comes to mind”.

G_d said that we are to put Him in remembrance of His word.  This means to remind Him of what He said, whether the written (Logos) or spoken (Rhema) Word.  He also said:

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”  (Isa 55:11)

How can His Word return to Him?  When we speak it.  That is the only way.  This is why it is so vital that we get into the Word (The Holy Bible) and get it into our spirit.  When a crisis comes up, we may not be able to lay hands on a Bible and search out Scriptures about that situation.  We had better have it already in us, ready to be brought back to mind in a split second when needed.

When the recent tornadoes hit, one went over our house.  As this was happening, my husband was rebuking “the storms going over us” and we were quoting Scriptures about safety.

We did not have time to look anything up.  We had to have those Scriptures available in our spirits.

The tornado utterly destroyed so much so near us, but it hit a mile behind us – and then jumped over us.

Has illness struck?

  • “By His stripes, ye were healed”(1 Peter 2:4)
  • “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 3rd John 1:2
  • … they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.  (Mar 16:18)

Are your children acting up and into things that they shouldn’t be?

  • A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.”Psa 22:30
  • “but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”  (Josh 24:15)

You have to know the Word to stand on, and you need to know it before you need it!

If God said it, He meant it.  He is no respecter of persons, so if He did it for someone in the Bible, or anyone else, He will do it for you.  If you believe He will.  And, actually, the more that you say it, the more you believe it, and the more faith you have that He will.  (Without faith it is impossible to please God!)

Trust God, Believe God, Obey God, and then sit back and watch what He will do on your behalf.

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”  (1 Corinthians 2:9)

Work that Word, and watch what happens: It will come to be!
